Why I chose self-employment

I have one very big reason for choosing this path. I have noticed that whenever I have worked as an employee under someone else's authority or had to work in the same environment as other people, firstly, they somehow are too intimidated to approach me, yet, I am the most approachable person on earth, very easy to talk to. It really is weird. Anyway, another reason is because virtually everyone that I have worked for in order to earn a salary of some sort always seem to try and hold me back, so they discover that I have a better way of doing things and getting the job done in a better way and start giving me hell about it almost immediately. My methods are more effective than theirs. I have worked with not just managers but colleagues who seem to always be bitter about me being selected for certain things ahead of them and then as a result, they get petty about it and can only complain.

There is no point in complaining because they saw that I had a better chance of doing a really good job of the task set before me. This happened every time I was praised for doing a better job than other staff members . It just got a point where even during training sessions, I would be told to stay silent before a word had even been said by me. This would regularly happen in front of new and inexperienced staff. Got a bit much and to top it all off, I had a few run-ins with managers, they caused them, that really set my stress levels at a rate that as too much to bear personally and I generally work very well under pressure. I work best that way

I even went so far as to go it alone and create an online store so that it could do all the work for me. That is why I chose it that way because I knew that I was ready to sit back and relax and let the money come my way on its own. It is now high time for that to happen using the online store. Especially now when things are at a point where it needs to be pushed to the next level and renewals are coming up for business online for me and my fees need to be paid in dollars, so imagine how rough it is for me right now. Many people are suffering especially those with small businesses such as myself and I have noticed that majority of those small businesses stop advertising or their means to advertise get closed off during a time like this as people seem to think that it is not necessary or just not feasible. What does happen for these small businesses is that without that digital marketing, people forget about you and find other people to support which is really sad. Every single one of these small businesses are owned by people who have families to feed on a daily basis and rely on that income, so when they can't work or earn money, it is really tough for them and they are unable to claim unemployment from government unless they have a certain complexion. It hurts, alot. I make it possible to still make money for myself so that I can keep going and I put every order to one side that has been paid for and it remains set aside until it is collected. I don't return stock to the stock pile unless it is exchanged for something else at the same value.

So, if you are able to help those small business owners in some way to keep them going and they can pay their bills at home, do so, they will appreciate it. This is a time when communities need to stand together and support one another as best they can.

Apart from that, I chose the route of the self-employed because I know that in the long run, I can make it work for me so that I can build the life that I have always wanted. It may sound selfish to some but I know I can do it because I have always had a positive response to the product that I personally produce with my own hands.

So, with that being said, let's get onto showing you all the #ootd of the last 48 hours, starting with yesterday:

Here comes the #ootd for today:

So, the little starlets are currently being shown, so here goes with yesterday's:

Now for today's:

So, when these are put together you get the following looks, this was yesterday:

What do you think of today's look;

So, the weather started out so beautifully yesterday and then the threat from Saturday decides to come down last night, it was much needed I will admit:

This morning I wake up to this and it is now raining again, as I type this:

Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the rain when it comes down one bit. It is much needed right now

Now, the online store connected up for my business is always running, that is the whole point. If you are stuck while browsing through and you want to get something that interests you, then use the messaging, I am always available and as a side note, I am going to say this here. The "Cash on Delivery" payment method at checkout is for South African purchases (credit and debit card as well, banking details are there) and "PayPal" is for international customers. Just to clear that up. I had some confusion a while back and a purchase did not go through because someone used the wrong payment method.

I also chose self-employment because I like doing my own thing that I can control and do my own way without someone else trying to force their ways on me. That was another problem I faced when being in someone else's employ, the need for others to control me. I am not somebody that you try to control.

So the store is at www.blaze-designsza.com
