When love conquers all

Last week I spoke about my parents and their marriage. Today, it is also to celebrate another wedding anniversary of a couple who have really been through so much and have faced so many hardships over the last few years but despite everything they have had to face they have managed to make a relationship work for more than twenty years and today celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary.

This amazing couple always have and always will be family in my heart and everyday I count my lucky stars to be one of the people that knows them.

That couple is Rodney and Julie Cornelissen.

This couple have raised three boys in a sometimes trying environment but have always done everything with love and dedication, not only to their relationship and their children but to their family as well. I have so much respect for these amazing people. Everything they do for their friends and loved ones is done from the heart.

This is a couple that have really been through hell and back and really are an inspiration for their love and devotion to each other. No matter how far apart we are or how often I see them, they will always be an inspiration in my books. This photo was taken at Rodney's cousin's son's wedding in 2016.

I really and truly commend this fantastic couple for sticking together and making it work. These days, you are lucky if you see this kind of loyalty to one another, I see it through many parts of my family and the people around us.

Against all odds. This very special couple and parents of three wonderful boys have shown that love really does conquer all.

I have many sources of inspiration in my life when it comes to relationships and friends and these two stand out above many, for Rodney and Julie to remain devoted to one another and to their families should really be rewarded in a big way.

I wish them many more years of happiness together. They deserve the best and biggest blessings in the world in all areas of life. Purely for surviving the things that they have been through. Originally they wanted to get married on Valentine's day which is tomorrow but the year that they got married, it fell on a Sunday so they got married the day before.

Happy anniversary Rodney and Julie. I wish you many more happy years together and may God bless you and your marriage for a long time to come.

Until next time, see y'all soon
