Wanting a better life for yourself

When I was growing up, my mom always used to say that I have #champagnetastes, and I admit that I did have quite expensive taste. I didn't see anything wrong with it. Little did I know is that she was subtlely encouraging me to pursue my dreams to make a better life for myself because she knew I was capable of doing so. It was in my early teens when this happens and many times over the years, the comment, "are you feeling rich?" came up quite regularly. It was quiet encouragement every time because she really wanted me to have the best and to go after whatever I wanted in my life.

This is actually a good thing especially if you grew up in a way that meant you grew up with less and you have dreams and aspirations for a great life. I realised this recently and am glad that I did because I am literally chasing my dreams and they are starting to come true very fast. I have always been someone who goes after every single one of my dreams and stops at nothing to achieve them and make them come true. I have always been encouraged to chase my dreams and my friends and loved ones know that I am fully capable of doing so. Doing what I do now is just one of those things. I have made a number of decisions over the past few months and I have already started the process of making that happen. One of them is to buy a house this year and mark my words, I am going to make it happen.

I have a few others and this one is a big priority of mine. I put a specific idea into my mind and then started the mental preparation to move towards that because if I just sy what i want and then not do anything to bring it to life, it won't happen. This is a big mistake that people make, they just say that they want something and then sit around and do nothing to bring it to life in their lives. I am big on doing the work to get things to come to life.

I will not condone laziness. If you want something badly enough in your life then do the work to make it happen. It won't happen by you sitting on uyour ass.

So, let's lighten things up a bit by sharing the #ootd from the last couple of days, here comes yesterday:

And for today:

So, now we move on to the little starlets and give them a chance in the spotlight. These darlings had their day yesterday:

Have a look at today's:

Combining them into a complete look has become completely effortless, have a look at yesterday's:

Today's is just as gorgeous:

I'm really starting to feel the winter chill in the mornings and even in the evenings. I am sitting in my dressing gown as I type this. I don't normally do this, not since I was a kid so nature is defintely being restored. Anyways, here is how she is looking these past days, starting with yesterday's:

Here comes today:

My beautiful sanctuary of healing, how I love you so dearly. I will always love nature even with the coming cold weather. She will always heal my mind, body and soul.

I am eternally grateful to mother nature for always being close at hand when I need her, which is everyday. The city parks have also now started to cut all the overgrown grass so that nobosy will break their ankles walking over it. So hopefully all the parks will be open to the public soon and we can go back to the way it was.

So, with all of this being said today, I will see y'all soon.
