The working world returns in South Africa.

So today was the first day when people starting going back to their offices today. I think it would be an understatement to say that they were relieved to be able to get back to what they know. I am self-employed and work from home so it has been a continuous working period for me but I know that alot of my friends and family would have been going back from today . Many of them will still be at home for a little while but they have still been working and those that do still have to work from home are quite eager to get back to their offices and sites of operations.

Some of my friends even started their own little businesses just before lockdown and have been getting orders during this time. It is also mother's day this coming weekend and I am hoping to be able to do something special for my mom as she has done so much for me and really means the world to me. I honestly would do anything in the world for her.

The last few weeks have really taken a toll on alot of people and what most of them have experienced is that their mental state of mind did get affected because of the restrictions that were placed on everybody.

I went out for the first time to the mall in about a month and it was almost insane the lines at the shops. It has and will still be quite a stressful time for a lot of people if not everybody.

So, on a lighter note. I'm going to show you #ootd from the last three days as a little treat.

Now, I have started to play with different angles as you will notice when I showed you Saturday, that was the first attempt at it and was very well received so I am adding it into the pictures that get posted up daily. So, this is Saturday:

The reason why I am doing this is because I want to get focus on each of the pieces of jewellery that I make and sell and right now my focus in on the earrings that I have available. The weather has also been so beautiful lately, albeit a bit chilly but very nice nonetheless. So here is the weather from Saturday:

I'm a city girl that loves nature, so I call the park, which is right across the road from my house my sanctuary of healing because mother nature is the greatest healer on earth and I firmly believe that this is true. I have healed on every level since going for regular walks in the park and just taking in the beauty that I am surrounded by. This has resulted in me experiencing such tremendous amounts of growth that I have gone through. It is all thanks to this.

As a result, I work so much more efficiently and sleep so much better as well. I am alot more functional in general on a daily basis due to this as well. I even said to all my social media followers, especially those that will still be at home for the next little while that have not yet returned to the office to use the time to learn to #beyourself #loveyourself and get in touch with who you are on the inside and make more conscious choices in order to live a better quality of life. We may be returning to work but life does continue regardless and we are at a time in the world whereby we need to consider the choices we have made in the past and look at how those past choices will affect our futures in the long run. This is because the choices that you make today will determine how your future pans out and if it will be the way you envision it.
