The weekend of love 2020

A weekend that most girls look forward to and some guys to because it means they get to spoil their special someone with all the love in the world. Something they should be doing every single day. This weekend however, if you did go that far and make an entire weekend of it. Then you obviously went all out.

I spent mine with all my special friends and got to spend it with my grandmother. My mother and I went and spent the day with her. This is also a leap year so the big day for that now draws nearer on the 29th of February. This is the day when the tables get turned and the girls get to ask that all important question, especially if they have been waiting them.

In my family leap day also happens to be my cousin Stephy's birthday, yes, I have a leap year baby in my family. Pretty cool huh.

I can hear alot of guys cringing right now because they know what's coming and doing everything humanly possible to dodge it. Sorry guys, this year, its our turn. I know of a few people who have been waiting a long time to hear those words. Well ladies, now you get to ask it so go for it and plan that perfect moment.

We even had a valentines themed parkrun yesterday, everyone looked festive and happy in their red tops. It was generally a nice beautiful hot day.

Overall I had a very chilled weekend this weekend. Really needed it after the past week was such a run around and I was bushed.

Even got to pull out some dresses this week.

I think this has been the most times I have put on a dress in the space of a week, ever. I generally don't wear dresses very often but these ones seemed appropriate for the time that is currently upon us.
