Starting the year and a new chapter

So every year the routine starts out the same. I start with strength training to rebuild muscle memory and get the body toned up to look like something. This has become a standard habit with me over a number of years and this will now be the fourth year in a row that I will be doing this and four years in a row is a record for me. The last time around it was three years on the trot.
I always like to start the year on a good note because then it gives me encouragement to do well for the year. I am very much in support of self-motivation and getting on the go in a way that is effective for the person and not doing what everyone else does and the reason I don't follow the pack is because if you are not all motivating and encouraging one another like you are supposed to, you become discouraged and break away or give up entirely.
Another thing I do is make sure that dietary goals and my eating is in line with my fitness goals so that i can get the results I want. I have made alot of changes over the years and they have helped so now it has become a habit to do this. I have made so many plans and set alot of goals for the year and I need to make sure that my mind is in the right place so incorporating yoga and meditation into this also helps to keep me on track. I have been using all of these together for the last two years and this will be the third one that I do all three and already on the first day, I feel so pumped for the year ahead and motivated to do well.
We all need to remember and this is a lesson I have learnt the hard way, always stick to the plan that you have set out. Do not stray from the plan. If you stray then you will not get the results that you want. Consistency is key to get results. This is very important in all areas of your life because then you will always succeed in achieving your goals.
Consistency gives results, not some slap dash mental note of a few little notes here and there. Always have a plan and stick to it. I am very OCD about things like this. I organise everything as best I can so that it makes sense and can follow it through to the end. Some people make think I am absolutely out of my mind to think like that but it works for me and I remember that when I organised these things in the past, they always worked out the way they had been planned and set out.
So that is how I set things out. As time goes by and I see things through and put things into place, I will tell you all about it and how things are looking.
Happy new year everybody
See you tomorrow
