So now we are on the downhill to coming out of lockdown in South Africa and as much as I love being at home, I also love my morning walks which I have not been able to go for. I really miss it right now.

This is not the first time that I have been in some form of quarantine in recent years, the last time was a recovery period after I suffered a near-death experience. I am not going to relive the details but I have spoken about it in this blog about four months ago. Refer post "Gratitude for living" (6 December 2019), that was on the three year anniversary since it happened and the first time I was able to tell the story publicly.

We are now at the end of #day20 today. The sun has now set and we now prepare for #day21, which was the original day that we were to come out of lockdown but it was extended last week, for valid reasons, obviously. We seem to be one of the few countries that has a low number at the moment and seem to be doing quite well given the severity of the situation.

At least I have my things to keep busy like putting together my lovely looks. So, without further ado, here is #ootd over the past 48 hours:

This was yesterday:

And today

And moving on to the stars of the show, yesterday:

Now for today:

Ok, so now we come to how it all looks when it is put together. Yesterday is up first

Time for today:

Who can honestly resist the most beautiful weather that you can experience in not just Johannesburg but in South Africa? Well, this was yesterday and the day ended with one helluva rainstorm, with a large dose of hail added in.

And today has been a similar start but no rain yet. Will check before I go to bed tonight

Now, those buildings in the photo are on the other side of town. That is Rosebank, to the left of it is Hyde Park and Sandton. All crystal clear. Now when I manage to get outside my gate and get up onto rocky ridge, I will show you exactly how clear things have become. It is incredible how clear it is after only a few weeks.

At the end of the day, I am just so glad that the earth has had such a wonderful chance to heal as much as she has. It was much needed. Many may think the government is being evil and spiteful but with everything going on, it is necessary.

I do hope like many people that those that are complaining about having to stay home understand that this situation with #coronavirus is a very serious one and must be treated as such. Don't take this lightly, it is not a laughing matter.

Alrighty then, so with that being said and my little session and all for today, I will see y'all soon

Have a great rest of the week

Happy Wednesday

That is very true. Focus on self-improvement and you will become a much better person in the long run.
