One of the lessons and pointers that i recently received during my meeting about my social media was to wear my own pieces so people can see how to pair something custom made with your outfits. It keeps people interested in your product and your brand.

Today I chose to wear a choker that took me about 18 months to make because i wanted to find the right components to pair the centre heart with so i chose pearls and rosary beads with a touch of lime green. It is strung on elasticated cord so it sits just below the neck line on the collar bone.

It is one of my favourites and only really wear it on special occasions but it can be worn with anything. I feel that when you are making something unique like custom made jewellery like I do then your potential clientele needs to be able to see that it can be worn with anything.

I love this one that I am wearing. I don't normally wear my pieces on a daily basis but I can understand why I was told this. It does help because it grows your interaction levels with you followers on your social media and gets people's attention in terms of actually checking out all your channels to see what you have on offer.
