Making time for those closest to you

One thing that needs to be remembered by all of us is that we only have one life and we have to make the most of it but we also should make time for the ones that mean the most to us. Our family are only in our lives once so we need to make as much time for them as possible. I have one grandmother left and I make a point of going to see her once a week. I am also her only granddaughter so the time we spend together for any reason is very special to me.
My mom comes to visit me almost every week as I no longer live at home. I have been living on my own for going on five years now. Every week I see my friends at parkrun and I see other friends at least once a month at full moon which is this Sunday. I also walk the dogs with my friend Eileen at least once a week, sometimes twice a week.
No one should ever make the excuse that they are too busy or don't have time because that is just a real lame excuse. Make the time. It takes one minute to send a text message to a friend to see how they are doing and making a phone call to a loved one or taking time out for lunch with someone is not asking a lot. Its the little things that I am talking about, it doesn't have to be a special occasion for you to spend time with your loved ones. Cherish every moment that you have them in your life and never ever take it for granted, because you will regret it if you do.
It is also important for you to do this because it means that you can also make time for yourself, the chances are that you have been thinking about your loved and feel like you want to see them, there is always a way to make time for someone and something.
I make time for myself every morning, I need to otherwise I feel like my day is incomplete. I even sit for hours on end listening to meditation tracks. This allows me to be more sociable and gives me a zest for life that has always been there but lying dormant, now it is firing on all cylinders. As i always say to you, be yourself and love yourself.
That energy allows me to effortlessly create the looks and #ootd every single day. Today's one is my favourite.
I paired the top with a tight-fitting pencil skirt today and it looks beautiful. You can get a better peak of the look in my Instagram stories, www.instagram.com/helensellick, check it out.
I feel like this is even more crucial to make time for your loved ones especially with the fast-paced world we live in today, it can make us run out until we burn out and collapse on the floor. Its no small wonder that so many of us have major health issues these days, and it is for this exact reason. Making time for your loved ones gives you a chance to breathe and take in the world around you. You miss out when you are rushing around like headless chickens all day and night.
It is photos like these that remind that I am my first priority and that I have another chance each day to make the most of the time I have left with my loved ones. My life and the lives of those closest to me are everything to me and I make sure that I am always there for them knowing they will make time for me as well.
Make the time for your loved ones every chance you get and never say that you don't have time, make the time.
Got a very special story coming for you tomorrow as it is a special day with my family
Until next time, see y'all soon
