Love is in the air

January is generally a tough month for everybody, but, here comes another month that tends to cripple every man's wallet. Yep, the month of love, Valentine's day is 16 days away.
I mean, honestly, you should show the women or your loved one how special they are to you each and every day of the year and your lives together. It should not be limited to one specific day. You can push it up a few notches on this particular day just because. Its your call. It is a day when you express yourself on a big level if you choose to.
The stores and the malls get really crazy at this time of the year and this year is a leap year so roles can get reversed and it comes as no surprise that the pressure gets piled on to get it right.
I love seeing an effort being made for the loved ones and love birds just sharing that special time together. It really is so cute to watch. Let's face it, we all want it every year. The biggest spoils with those gorgeous roses and teddy bears and chocolates and everything else in between like candle-lit dinners
Yes, I am a typical girl, I love the romance. I love watching people share special moments together. I am a romantic myself. Had my heart broken shortly thereafter at one point but have never given up on being happy again. I think it is high time I was happy like that again.
This is the face of a girl who loves herself as she is and falls in love with how her body has taken such great shape.
It is a girl who stands tall no matter what and effortlessly puts together beautiful looks that match her personality so perfectly. I mean, I am the kind of girl that is loyal to the bone. I always have been. I love myself as much as I love anybody who comes into my life and becomes a part of my family.
Sometimes, that loyalty has landed me in situations that I did not expect to find myself in but once it has been tested then I'm gone. When I love someone, I love them with every fibre of my being and expect the same from whoever is in my life. I have never really had a chance to get completely comfortable with a partner previously because it has been cut off faster than I could blink. It did happen previously, and I was not even to blame for the break up, his ex showed up and caused trouble and less than two months later it was over after we had spent every weekend up until that point of the relationship together only for that to happen. He left me crying for three days, and did all of this via a text message. The bastard. He did this just after Valentine's too, so it is a bit of a sensitive day for me.
I do believe that I will be happy like that again and I hold onto that hope everyday of my life. Like I said, i am a romantic at heart.
This is actually the first time I have worn this top with these jeans and the choker, which can be seen on the side by the print on the top can also be doubled up as a headband, pretty cool huh.
Love is not something that I take lightly. I have watched relationships with other family members collapse and others last for years. So I have seen first hand both sides of the spectrum and still believe that It can be everlasting. My parents have been together for forty years, married for 38 on the 6th of February.
