With only 61 days left of this year, how much have you achieved in terms of reaching your goals or meeting your new years resolutions, if any were made.
I am not the biggest fan of resolutions because they can be hard to achieve if they are unrealistic. What I do instead is that I make a choice to improve a particular aspect of my life whether it is to improve on my fitness levels, or concentrate on something that motivates me like getting outdoors more and things like that.
These are just two of the things that I have been working on and the reason why I mention these is because they help in other aspects of my life like the benefits of improved mental health and the like. I suffered with my mental health for many years and today I am a much stronger person because when I really needed it, I got the help to get me into a state of recovery.
I also learned to not beat myself up when things were on a downward trend because those trends don't last forever. It is a phase that is currently in play and will pass in time.
As a result of me remaining positive even during trying times, I have seen that things do bounce back and that they will always get better eventually.
I have learned that perseverance always gets you closer to where you want to go, I have done a lot of that especially when it seemed like it was just insanely difficult to the point of seeming near impossible but due to the positivity that I held on to I was always able to pull through it all.
So what lessons have you learned in the last year as we wind down to welcome in 2020.
