Guardian angels

We all have our guardian angels but the really special ones are the ones that we don't personally know. Those are the ones who go out of their way to give back without expectation and make sure that everything always runs smoothly when you are having a bad day. Now the reason I say this is because yesterday I got the fright of my life thinking that I had lost yet another phone. It tends to happen quite alot especially when I really need to be available for something.
I went with a friend to her son's house to go and take the dogs for a walk just to keep them active otherwise they are cooped up in the yard because he is away on a regular basis. The dogs are actually hers but he keeps them by him because she has no space where she stays.
We get to the park which is right across the road from my house and as I let the one dog off the lead my phone fell out of my pocket and because it landed on grass I didn't hear it drop. We get further down the path when I realise it is missing. So my friend phoned my number and luckily my phone was still on.
While we are there, a group of kids that get private athletics coaching in the park and some of them had been brave enough to come out after the rain that day for practise. They heard my phone ringing and picked it up. They noticed that we were looking for it and came running back to where i was standing with my friend and came and asked if any of us had lost a phone. I was so grateful to see my phone that I could have given these kids a million bear hugs to say thank you to them. My life is on my phone and I am so grateful that I can keep going without having to worry about getting a new one and replacing sim cards
They were my guardian angels yesterday and they expected absolutely nothing in return for giving me back my phone.
What I am trying too say is that kindness costs nothing and if you are willing to help someone out just by doing something nice to make them feel better and to make their day then do that because in the long run that favour will be returned. Those kids restored my faith in humanity and the goodness that the future generations can bring to this world because they are raised with good morals and are raised to be respectful of others no matter what.
We need more people like this in this world and what those kids did yesterday will be rewarded in a big way in the long run without them expecting it. As the old saying goes, "what goes around, comes around" and as they also say in the bible "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." If you treat people right then you will be treated well as well.
It costs nothing to be kind to someone. I have been taught that from a young age and I carry that lesson through my entire life. So be someone else's guardian angel and give them hope because you don't know what a person is going through in their lives but a small act of kindness out of the goodness of your own heart can go such a long way to make someone else's life better.
This is the time of year when alot of people really need a little kindness in their lives, so spread a little cheer and make someone's day just because you can
