Following your dreams

We all have dreams and aspirations of some kind. I had a few growing up. The first was to be a lawyer but my school marks were not high enough when I finished so instead I started studying psychology and while trying to finish my third year, it all fell apart so I worked various retail and waitressing jobs but at the end of the day I always wanted my own business.

The first thing I tried was to make home baked treats because I love cooking and baking. I have been in a kitchen since age 5 helping my grandmother in the kitchen after school and during holidays, the bug bit and never let go. I then did a cellular repair training course which I also did quite well in, I am technically minded so it was quite easy. These were both due to me being such a strong person in so many areas in general but while I was doing the home baked thing my mother suggested to me that I try doing beadwork so I gave it a try and I never looked back.

It was the one thing that I had started doing that managed to keep my anxiety under control. It originally started out as a hobby but I turned it into a business because of all the positive response that I was getting from what I was putting out. Initially it was quite tough because the sales were quite slow but when I eventually created the Facebook page, it really started to pick up and now with me having the website which I setup as an online store it just soared from there. The store has now been live for three months and this is the first month that with the exception of the 1st, I have had site traffic every single day. Which is brilliant.

That is actually a very good performance for a site that is still so new. So it is showing huge potential to do big things. I am very excited about this and am so glad that I have never given up on it and persevered every single day to make it a reality.

So the mere fact that I never gave up on my dreams and that I followed them no matter what is what has put me where I am right now.

So never give up on your dreams follow them no matter what and keep going until you achieve your goal. I made it happen so can you.
