Easter weekend in lockdown

I have to admit that as unpleasant as the weekend started after the president extended our lockdown period on the eve of Easter, which I thought was a bit rude as I was looking forward to coming out of isolation this week. It is a small price to pay for what has been achieved in this country where the #coronavirus is concerned. We have one of the lowest counts in the world right now and because we had advanced warning about the virus possibly hitting here before it did gave us plenty time to prepare. We also happen to have certain health measures in place which have helped with curbing the spread, so we are so far able to do our part to #flattenthecurve.
So back to the subject at hand. This is the second year in a row that I have spent Easter away from my family, although I did see my mom yesterday. Last year, the car was out of order over Easter, which was a real bummer. It has actually been quite a pleasant one this year, albeit a cold start, it warmed up quite nicely as the weekend went by.
So, on to the usual stuff, here is how #ootd turned out over the weekend, and I will start at the beginning
This was Good Friday
Saturday looked like the following

Easter Sunday looked like this

And here is today's #ootd

Now let's not forget the little starlets that shine with these looks, from the beginning of the weekend
On to Saturday

Easter Sunday

Now for today's little star

All of these combined together create the following looks, once again, from the top:

Now for Saturday

Easter Sunday

Now for today's look

As you can see, each look is very relaxed but stands out on its own allowing each piece to be showcased with a unique outfit that is textured and stylish
That is exactly how I want it to be. Classic and simple but stylish. Each of the little stars can be bought in my online store at www.blaze-designsza.com and then when lockdown is lifted then I can have it already set aside for you to collect or courier to you if you are outside the city or area that I am based in, Northcliff, Johannesburg.
This notion and creating these looks each and every day has become so easy to do that I can just pick the clothes out almost instantly and put it together in a swift and effortless manner.
Growing up Easter was a big thing with my family as we all went to my grandparents every year or they came this side of town. I really miss them but I keep them close to my heart in the silver locket that I wear.
I have to admit, that it gets easier every year because I know that they will always be watching over me.
So as isolated as this Easter was, it was still a good one because despite the cold start, it turned out nice and sunny as I will show you now and I have to say, that the skies are so clear nowadays it is incredible to know how much healing has taken place in the world
So it started out like this

And turned out like this, and I have to admit that the clarity is amazing:

This can only get clearer as time goes by and that is why I am always smiling in the photos because the earth is healing and I am really happy about that. As I said before, I am a huge nature lover so it puts my mind at ease when I see the beauty that this world has to offer in all its glory with my very own eyes.
So, hope you have all had an awesome weekend and I will see y'all soon
Happy Easter
